Hotel Shiv-Vilas

You can find us at Hotel Shiv-Vilas, located at 135 Residency Road in Bangalore. This part of the city is always moving, and we’re right in the middle of it. Our hotel is a busy place because of the location. We have people checking in and out every single day. The staff here has a routine that starts early in the morning with the breakfast shift and goes late into the night. We aren't one of those brand new luxury towers you see in the outskirts. We’re an older building with a lot of history on Residency Road. This means we’re always fixing something, whether it’s a leaky pipe or a door that squeaks. It’s just part of the job. We have a small team that handles the front desk, the cleaning, and the maintenance. It gets pretty loud outside with all the honking and the people walking by, but we’ve grown used to it over the years. We see all kinds of guests, from families on vacation to people here for business meetings in the city center. We don’t have a fancy corporate office. We just work from the desk in the lobby or the small back room. It’s a lot of work keeping up with the laundry and the bookings, but we keep things moving. We’re just a regular Bangalore hotel trying to do a good job for the people who stay with us in Karnataka.
