Hotel Prince

If you walk down 7th Cross in Frazer Town, specifically in the 6th Block, you will see our building. It’s been here for quite some time. It’s a fairly plain looking place from the outside, and the inside isn't much different. We have rooms for people to stay and a place to sit down and eat. The hallways are narrow and the paint is peeling a little bit in the corners, but we keep everything as clean as we can. Frazer Town is a lively neighborhood, especially at night, so there is always some noise coming in from the street. You might hear the auto-rickshaws or people chatting as they walk by. Our lobby is just a small desk and a couple of chairs where people wait. We spend a lot of our time checking people in and out or making sure the kitchen has what it needs for the daily meals. The staff here has been around for years, so we all know the routine pretty well. It’s not one of those big corporate hotels; it feels more like a house that’s been turned into a business. We have old wooden doors that sometimes creak when they open, and the windows are the heavy metal kind. It’s a basic place for people who just need a spot to stay or a simple meal while they are in this part of town. We are just here doing our job.
