Hotel Lucky Durbar

Hotel Lucky Durbar is at Commercial Street Virwani Industrial Estate 53. We provide food and a few rooms for people to stay in. This area is mostly factories and warehouses, so it is very busy during the day. We have a lot of workers who come in for a heavy lunch. We serve big portions because they have hard jobs. The building at Virwani Industrial Estate 53 is quite old. The walls are thick and the windows are small. It stays a bit dark inside even during the day. We have some ceiling fans that creak when they spin. We've tried oiling them but they still make noise. We spend a lot of time in the kitchen. There is always a big pot of tea on the stove. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. Just a small desk where we keep the register. The rooms upstairs are basic. We provide a bed, a fan, and a light. We do all the laundry ourselves in the back. It’s a lot of work to keep up with the sheets and towels. We don't use a computer for bookings, just a big ledger book. Sometimes the street outside gets flooded when it rains heavily, and we have to put sandbags at the door. It’s just part of being in this location. We are a small family business and we've been here for years.
