Hotel Kinara

We’ve been here at JP Nagar Indiragandhi Circle on the 9th Cross for a while now. The building is okay, maybe not the newest on the block, but it does the job for people looking to stay in Phase I. Mostly, we just spend our mornings getting the rooms ready and checking the water. Sometimes the lift acts up, but we fix it pretty quick. The staff is mostly local guys who know the shortcuts around here if you ask them. It’s a busy spot near the circle, so you hear the traffic sometimes in the afternoon. We don’t have fancy stuff, just beds and some chairs. A lot of regulars come through because they work nearby or have family in the area. It gets quiet at night after the shops shut down. I usually stay near the front desk and help out with whatever pops up. We keep the place clean enough, though the walls could use some fresh paint one of these days. It’s just a normal place for people to sleep. Nothing more to it. People like that they can walk to the market from here. Usually, it's just me and a couple of others running the show. We try to keep things simple and not make a big deal out of it. If someone needs a towel or an extra pillow, they just shout. It’s not like those big chains you see on the main roads. Just a hotel on 9th Cross.
