Hotel Janpath

If you are looking for us, we are located in Ramamurthy Nagar, right near the Holy Family Church at house number 311. We are up on the first floor, so you have to walk up the stairs to find the main desk. Being so close to the church means we hear the bells and the singing quite often, which is a nice background sound for our day. The neighborhood is mostly families and small shops, so it feels quite local and grounded. We have been here for a bit now, and we know many of the neighbors by name. Our rooms are basic but we keep them clean as best as we can. The staff is just a few of us who have been around for a long time. We handle everything from the cleaning to the check-ins ourselves. Sometimes the street gets a bit dusty when the wind picks up, but that is just Bangalore for you. We don't have a big fancy lobby or a gym, just a place for people to stay when they are in this part of town. Most of our guests are visiting relatives nearby or have some work at the church. We spend our afternoons making sure the linens are washed and the bathrooms are scrubbed. It is hard work but it keeps us busy and out of trouble. We like it here because it is quiet compared to the city center and the atmosphere is very calm.
