Hotel Imperial

Hotel Imperial has been sitting here in Kalyan Nagar for a good while now. We are located right in the HRBR Layout, and it stays pretty active around this part of town. Our kitchen is almost never quiet because there is always something bubbling or frying on the stove. We don't really do the fancy dining thing where you get tiny portions on big plates. It is mostly about serving up solid meals so people can get on with their day. We see a lot of the same people every single week, mostly neighbors or folks working in the nearby shops. On Sunday nights, it gets a bit crowded and we have to move fast to keep the tables clear for the next group. The staff knows the menu inside out, so we don't usually have to stop and think about what's available. The tandoor oven gets incredibly hot in the afternoons, and you can feel that heat even if you are just standing near the front door. We do a massive amount of parcel orders too. People call us up or just swing by on their way home to pick something up. It gets a little messy when the delivery guys are all gathered outside, but we manage to get the bags out to them. Cleaning the place at the end of the night is a big chore because of all the spices we use, but that is just part of the job here in Kalyan Nagar.
