Hotel Chetan International

We’ve been here at 121, 4th Main on Gandhi Nagar Chinnappa Garden Road for a while now. The building isn’t brand new or anything, but it does the job for people coming through. Most of us working here live nearby, so we know the shortcuts and where to find stuff in the neighborhood. It gets pretty loud outside during the day with all the traffic, but that is just how this part of town is. We spend a lot of time cleaning the rooms and checking the linens. Sometimes the elevator acts a bit slow when everyone is checking out at once, but we manage. You’ll usually see one of us behind the desk or helping with bags near the entrance. It is a busy spot. We don't have fancy stuff, just beds and basic things people need for a night or two. Sometimes families stay here, other times it is just folks on business. We try to keep things quiet in the hallways at night so everyone can sleep. The neighborhood has changed a lot since we opened, more shops and more people now. We just keep doing our thing every day, making sure the lights are on and the rooms are ready for whoever shows up. It’s not a complicated place to run, but it keeps us on our toes from morning until late at night when the city finally settles down a bit.
