Hotel Athithi

Our place is on Banneraghatta Road, near the old Opera House area at 225/226. It’s a busy stretch of road, always full of cars and noise. We’ve been here serving food and giving people a place to stay for a while now. The building is a bit older, so we are always fixing something or painting a wall. It isn't a luxury spot, but it is clean and the beds are fine for a night. In the dining area, we keep the fans going all day. The menu doesn't change much. We make what we know how to make. Most of our guests are people traveling for work or families visiting the hospital nearby. We see a lot of different faces every day. It can get tiring, standing at the counter for hours, but it’s what we do. We try to be helpful if someone asks for directions or needs an extra towel. We don't have a big corporate office or anything. It’s just the family and a few workers running the show. Sometimes the kitchen gets a bit behind if a big group shows up without calling, but we manage somehow. We just want people to have a place to sit down and eat without any fuss. It is a straightforward business on a very busy road. We just keep the doors open and do our work.
