Hotel Annapurna

Our place, Hotel Annapurna, is situated at 122 on 6thcross in the Gandhi Nagar area of Bangalore. We are just down the way from the Raj Kumar International, which most people use as a landmark to find us. This neighborhood is 560009 and it is always busy with people walking around and shops open late. We have been running this hotel for quite some time now, and it’s mostly just us doing the daily chores. The building is older, so we are always painting something or fixing a door handle that got loose. It’s not a shiny new hotel, but it’s a place where you can get a room without a lot of fuss. We spend our mornings talking to guests and helping them figure out which bus to take or where to find a good tea shop. The 6thcross street can be a bit loud with all the traffic, but we’ve gotten used to the sound of horns and engines over the years. We don’t have a big website or a lot of staff in uniforms. It’s just a basic setup where we provide a bed and a bathroom. We keep the place as clean as we can, even though the city dust is always trying to get in through the windows. Most of the people who stay here are regulars who have been coming back for years because they know what to expect. It’s a straightforward business and we just keep it going day by day as best as we can.
