Hotel Aj International

We've been here in Jougapalyam for a while now. It’s tucked away at No 6/1 G on 8th Street, near the 2nd Cross. Most people find us because they need a place to crash near Ulsoor. It’s not a huge place, just a simple hotel called Hotel Aj International. My morning usually starts with checking the laundry and making sure the front desk has everything they need for the new check-ins. Bangalore traffic can be a nightmare, so we get a lot of tired folks coming through the door. The street outside gets busy, especially with the local shops opening up. We have a few regulars who stay with us whenever they’re in town for work. It’s mostly just us trying to keep things running smoothly. There’s always something to fix, like a leaky tap or a lightbulb that’s gone out. We don’t have fancy stuff, just clean rooms and a place to sleep. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy outside, but that’s just how the neighborhood is. Most days, it’s about talking to guests and helping them figure out where to catch a bus or find a decent meal nearby. We've seen the area change quite a bit over the years. Some new buildings went up, but we’re still here in our spot. It’s a busy life, but it keeps us on our toes. Just a normal local business doing our thing day in and day out, making sure the beds are made and the guests are looked after.
