New Dawna Apparels is located at No. 3 on the 2nd Main Road in Hongasandra. The easiest way to find us is to look for the Srinivasa Kalyan Mandapa bus stop, we are right opposite that. We are also just before you reach Kavya Nursing Home on Begur Road. It’s a very busy stretch of road with buses and autos constantly stopping nearby. Our building is a simple structure where we handle all our garment work. Inside, it’s mostly tables for cutting and rows of sewing machines. The lights stay on late most nights because there is always a batch of clothes that needs finishing. We deal with a lot of different styles of apparel here. It gets a bit noisy with the traffic outside and the machines inside, but we’re used to it. The floor is usually covered in loose threads and paper patterns. We have a small group of workers who are really good at what they do. They don't need much instruction anymore. Sometimes the delivery vans have a hard time parking because the road is so narrow and crowded, but we make it work. It’s a busy local business and we don’t have much time for decoration or fancy office stuff. We just focus on getting the shirts and trousers packed and ready. It’s a regular day-to-day grind and we appreciate the people who stop by to check on their orders.
