Hitesh Plastic

Hitesh Plastic is tucked away in Mamulpet, inside Geetha Mansion on the 2nd Cross. If you know Mamulpet, you know how crowded it gets with all the carts and people moving through the narrow lanes. We are at number 39. Our shop is filled with all kinds of plastic goods, from buckets and bins to small containers for the kitchen. It’s a lot of lifting and moving boxes around every single day. The 2nd Cross is always noisy, and there’s barely enough room for two people to walk side by side sometimes. We deal with a lot of wholesale stuff, so there are always bundles tied up with yellow string waiting to be picked up. It isn't a place for window shopping really. People come here knowing exactly what they need for their shops or homes. Geetha Mansion has been there for years, and we’ve seen plenty of shops come and go. The walls are a bit stained, and the lighting could be better, but it serves the purpose. We spend most of our time checking the inventory and talking to the transporters. It’s a busy life in the heart of the market. Sometimes the heat gets a bit much under the roof, but we keep the fan running and carry on. It’s just a honest way to earn a living in this part of town where everyone is always in a hurry. We don't have fancy displays, just products.
