Himagiri Marble & Granite

We are set up on Banneraghatta Road, specifically at numbers 59 and 60 in the MIDC area. If you know the road, you know it gets quite dusty and loud with all the trucks moving through. Our yard is filled with slabs of marble and granite stacked up against each other. It’s heavy work, moving those stones around. We spend most of our time out there in the yard or in the small office area near the front. The floor is usually covered in a bit of stone dust, no matter how much we clean it. People come by when they are building a house or renovating a kitchen. They like to walk through the stacks and see the different patterns in the stone. We don't have a fancy showroom with bright lights. It’s just the raw material sitting there under the roof. Sometimes we are busy loading up trucks to send orders out, and other times we are just cutting pieces to size for a specific job. The MIDC area is a practical place to be for this kind of work. It’s not a place for window shopping, really. Most folks who come here know what they need and just want to see the quality of the slabs we have on hand. It’s hard work, but we’ve been doing it a long time on this stretch of Banneraghatta Road and we know the materials well.
