We’re located in Flat 41 of the Abhijit Apartments, which is at the old number 67 on 11th Cross in Bangalore. It’s a residential-feeling area but we’ve got our HCL Technologies BPO setup right here on the 7th Main. It’s an interesting spot for a business because it feels a bit like being at home. We’ve got a lot of people coming in for different shifts since the work never really stops. BPO work is mostly about staying on top of the systems and helping out with whatever tasks are coming through the pipes that day. The apartment building itself is older, so it has some character, unlike those glass towers you see in the tech parks. We have our computers lined up, and the air conditioning is usually running full blast to keep the machines cool. Sometimes the elevator is slow, so we just take the stairs. It’s a hardworking environment, but we try to keep it relaxed between the busy periods. We aren't doing anything fancy here; it's just processing data and handling services as they come in. Lunch breaks usually involve walking down the street to find something quick to eat. We’ve been in this part of Karnataka for quite a while now. Most of us live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad. It’s a steady job in a familiar neighborhood, and we just focus on getting through the daily logs without too much fuss. We're just a branch doing our daily part for the company.
