Sunil Agro Exports Ltd.

We are located out in Gubbi, right on the Honnavar NH No. 206. Being near the highway is helpful for the trucks that come and go from Sunil Agro Exports Ltd. It can get pretty dusty with all the traffic passing by, but that’s just part of being out here. We deal with a lot of different agricultural items that need to be sent out. The warehouse is a big space where we store everything before it gets loaded. It’s not a glamorous job, mostly involves checking weights and making sure the packaging is holding up. We have a small office on-site where we keep the records. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but we usually have plenty to do in the meantime. The staff here mostly comes from the nearby villages. We’ve been working together for a good while now. We don't have a big marketing department or anything. People usually find us because they know the area or have worked with us before. The weather affects how busy we are; during harvest season, it gets quite hectic and we stay late many nights. During the off-season, things quiet down and we catch up on repairs to the building and the equipment. It’s a basic way of life, tied to the land and the roads. We just focus on getting the goods moved properly.
