Maheshwari Rocks

You can find us at No-41b in the Green Industrial Area on Road No-3. It is a big industrial patch and there are a lot of businesses doing similar things around here. We work with rocks and stones all day long. It is loud work because there is always some kind of cutting or polishing going on nearby. Our yard is pretty big, which is good because these stones take up a lot of space. We have different sections for different types of rock. Some are rough and some have been smoothed down already. We spend our time checking the edges and making sure everything is measured correctly. It is not the kind of job where you stay clean. By lunchtime, our clothes are usually covered in stone dust. We have a small crew and we all know what needs to be done. We don't really do much advertising; people mostly just see our sign or hear about us from someone else in the trade. We focus on getting the slabs ready for whoever needs them. It is a lot of heavy lifting and moving things with the forklift. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to spend the afternoon fixing them instead of moving stone. That is just how it goes when you work in an industrial area like this one. We just take it as it comes and try to get the work done before dark.
