Grazia Beauty Parlour

The shop is called Grazia Beauty Parlour and you can find us at No.1/18, Prem Kuteera. We are tucked away in Hanumanthappa Layout in Ulsoor. It’s quite close to the Manipal Center, which is handy for people who work over there and want to stop by after they finish for the day. Bangalore traffic is always a mess, so being in this layout makes it a little bit quieter than the main roads. We have been here for a good amount of time now. The building is an older one, which gives it a certain feel. It’s not one of those glass and steel places. We have our regular customers who have been coming to us for years. They know where the light switch is and which chair is the most comfortable. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint soon, but it’s clean and does the job. Most days involve a lot of threading and hair cutting. We keep the radio on most of the time to fill the space. Sometimes the signal isn't great, but it’s better than silence. It’s mostly women from the surrounding houses who drop in. We don't really do big advertising; people just know we are here. It’s a simple setup with basic tools. Nothing too complicated happens here. We just stay busy with the local crowd and keep the place running as best as we can.
