We are over at No. 227 on 5th Cross in Banashanker 1st Stage. It is easy to find if you know the 2nd Cross area well. Our building is a simple setup where we handle all our daily business. We have been around for a bit, focusing on the technical side of stone work. It is more than just moving rocks; there is a lot of measuring and making sure things fit right. The guys in the shop are usually covered in a bit of dust because that is the nature of the job. We do not have a big showroom with bright lights. Instead, we have a workspace that stays busy from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes we are here late finishing up a job for someone who needs it by morning. The neighborhood is fairly busy, so there is always something going on outside our door. We drink a lot of tea to keep going through the afternoon slump. It is just a small group of us working together. We do not spend much time on the computer or making things look pretty for the internet. We would rather be on the shop floor making sure the cuts are straight. It is a straightforward way to make a living, and we have grown to appreciate the people who live and work around this part of the city.
