Grand Ashok Hotel

Our place is located at 5095 Kumara Krupa Road, right on the corner near Guest House Road. It’s an old part of Bangalore, and we’ve been here for quite some time. The building has been through a lot of seasons. We aren't one of those new, shiny glass buildings you see popping up everywhere. It’s more of a traditional setup. We have rooms for staying and a place to eat. Most of our day is spent handling check-ins or making sure the kitchen has what it needs for the guests. The road outside can get quite busy with cars and bikes, but inside it stays relatively calm. We don't have a big marketing department writing things for us. We just handle the work as it comes. Sometimes the plumbing needs a bit of help, or we have to repaint a wall, but that’s just part of keeping an old hotel going. We see a lot of people who come to Bangalore for work or to visit family nearby. They usually just want a bed and a decent meal. We keep things simple here. The staff knows the layout by heart, and we try to keep things moving along without too much fuss. It’s a steady job, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the city around us. We open the gates early and stay up late until the last guest is settled in.
