Grand Ashok Hotel

You can find the Grand Ashok Hotel over in Yeshwanthapur, specifically at 8, 6th Cross. We’re tucked away on the 2nd Main in B.K. Nagar, Bangalore-560022. It is a busy neighborhood, and there is always something going on right outside our doors. We’ve been running this hotel for some time now, and the building has a lot of character, which is just a polite way of saying it’s a bit old. But we like it that way. It feels like a real part of the city. We don't have a team of people in fancy suits standing at the door to open it for you. It’s usually just one of us behind the desk, probably checking a ledger or talking to a regular guest who stays here every month. We keep the rooms as tidy as we can and make sure the water is hot for the morning showers. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find a spa or a giant swimming pool, but it’s a solid roof over your head. We get all sorts of people staying here, from workers to folks visiting family in Bangalore. We don't put on airs or pretend to be something we aren't. We just provide a place to sleep and a bit of friendly conversation if someone wants it. The traffic in Yeshwanthapur can be a nightmare at five o'clock, but once you’re inside, it’s decent enough. We’re just a local hotel doing our thing every single day.
