Gowdermana Hotel

This hotel is located on A K Road in Peenya, specifically at 117/1. If you know this area, you know it's full of factories and workers and heavy trucks. We stay busy because people need to eat before their shifts or during their breaks. It is a simple place. We don't have air conditioning or fancy decorations on the walls. Just metal tables and chairs and the smell of the kitchen coming through the door. Most of the guys coming in are regulars. They want their food fast and they want it to taste like home. We wake up early to start the pots boiling. There is always steam in the air and the sound of ladles hitting the sides of the pans. Peenya is a dusty place with all the construction and trucks moving around outside, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the floors and wiping the tables. The menu doesn't change much. We make the same things every day because that's what people ask for. It's not the kind of place you come for a fancy date or a big party. It's where you come when you're hungry and you've got work to do. My family helps out sometimes when it gets too crowded during the lunch hour. We've been at this spot for a long time.
