I’m located on Kanakapura Road, specifically in Shiv Shakti Nagar 3. It’s a growing part of the city, so there’s always something new being built nearby. My office is a simple room. I don't have a lot of decorations or anything. There’s a computer, a printer that sometimes jams, and enough chairs for whoever needs to sit. I’ve been working here for several years. I started it on my own because I wanted to be my own boss. It’s not always easy. Some months are very quiet and others are so busy I forget to eat lunch. People from the neighborhood know me. I’m not really interested in being some big corporate guy. I just want to provide what people need and do it fairly. The traffic on Kanakapura Road can get pretty bad, so I tell people to come early or late if they are driving. I like the area though. It feels lively. I handle everything myself, from answering the phone to doing the actual work. It ensures that things don't get lost in translation. If there’s a mistake, it’s mine, and I fix it. That’s the way I’ve always done things. It keeps life simple and the clients seem to appreciate that I’m easy to talk to. I keep the files organized as best as I can on my old wooden shelves.
