Golden Palms Hotel & Spa

Down in Jai Jawan Nagar, you’ll find our place on the 5th Cross. It’s called Golden Palms. We’ve been here in Chikka Banaswadi for a good bit of time. It’s a hotel, so there is always someone coming or going at all hours of the day. The rooms need cleaning and the laundry has to be done every single morning without fail. It keeps our small staff very busy. We have the spa part too, which is just another section of the building where people go to relax for a while. Bangalore is a fast city, but this corner is a bit different from the main roads. We see a lot of people who are traveling for work or just visiting their family nearby. It’s not like those giant luxury hotels you see in the movies. We’re more of a local spot for people who need a place to stay. Sometimes the water heater takes a minute to get going or the Wi-Fi acts a bit funny, but we try to get it sorted quickly for the guests. The staff here mostly lives in the surrounding neighborhood. We know the area well. If you need to find a good place for tea or a quick snack, we can point you the right way. It’s a lot of work running a hotel, but we’re used to the rhythm of it now. We just try to make sure there’s a clean bed and a quiet night for whoever stays with us here.
