Global Traders

We are over at No. 277 on 4th Main in Rahmathnagar. It’s a bit of a walk from the main bus stop, but it’s a nice enough neighborhood. Our office is right near the 2nd Cross. Global Traders is based in a quiet building where we have enough room to spread out our papers and keep our samples. The walls are painted a light color, but they’ve seen better days. We have a few old wooden desks that have been with us since we started. Most days involve a lot of checking on shipments and talking to drivers. It’s not very glamorous work, but someone has to do it. The afternoon sun hits the front window pretty hard, so we usually have to pull the shades down for a couple of hours. We have a small fridge for our lunches and a lot of empty boxes piled up in the back room. Sometimes the neighbors come by just to say hello or ask for a bit of help with something. It’s a friendly place to be. We don't really have a big team, just a couple of us who know the routine inside out. We make sure the orders are processed and that nothing gets lost in the shuffle. It’s a steady pace of work without too much stress, unless a big delivery is late. We like the quiet here compared to the main roads.
