Global Correspondence College

Our office for Global Correspondence College is right above Mayura Bakery and Sweets in Whitefield. If you've ever been to Meersab Compound, you know it’s a busy little pocket of Bengaluru. The smell of the bakery downstairs is always there, which is sometimes a good thing and sometimes just makes you hungry all day. Working in correspondence education means we deal with a lot of mail and phone calls from people who can't always make it to a physical classroom. It’s a lot of filing and checking names. Whitefield has changed so much with all the tech companies, but our corner still feels like the old days in some ways. The traffic outside is always a mess, so we spend a lot of time just looking out the window at the cars crawled up. It isn't a big glass building with fancy elevators. It’s more of a practical space where we get the paperwork sorted and help people figure out their courses. We have piles of books and application forms everywhere. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet acts up, and we just have to wait it out like everyone else in the area. It’s a bit cramped at times, but we’ve got a good routine going. We aren't here to impress anyone with a lobby, just here to do the job and go home. People stop by to drop off envelopes and we usually have a quick chat before they head back into the rush outside.
