Gland Pharma Limited

Working at Gland Pharma Limited here in Bangalore is a bit of a whirlwind. If you’ve ever lived here, you know the city never really stops, and neither do we. Our facility is where we handle a lot of the manufacturing and quality checks. It isn't a glamorous job, even if the city is known for being a tech hub. We’re in the thick of it, dealing with labs, machinery, and a lot of safety protocols that can be a bit tedious but are totally necessary. We don’t use any of that corporate speak about being the best or whatever. We’re just a bunch of people who know how to run a pharmaceutical plant and make sure the products are safe. The traffic getting to the site is usually the hardest part of the day. Once we’re inside, it’s all about the routine. We have shifts running at all hours, so the building is rarely empty. It’s a big place, and sometimes it’s hard to keep track of everyone, but we have a good group of people who actually care about what they’re doing. We eat our lunch together in the breakroom and talk about normal stuff, not just work. It’s a practical, busy environment where we focus on the science and the logistics of getting medicine out the door. It’s hard work, and we don’t pretend it’s anything else, but it feels good to get things right at the end of the day. We just try to keep the wheels turning.
