Give Light

Our shop is located at number 10 on the Muneshwara Block Main Road. It’s a pretty easy spot to see because we always have a few lights glowing in the window even on cloudy days. We’ve been here long enough that most of the neighbors know us by name. We deal with all sorts of lighting stuff, from basic bulbs to the more complicated fixtures people want for their houses. The shop isn't very big, so we have boxes stacked up quite high. You have to be careful walking around sometimes so you don't trip over a wire or a carton of tubes. We spend a lot of time explaining how different switches work or why a certain bulb keeps flickering. It’s regular work, nothing too exciting, but it keeps us busy from morning till night. The main road is always loud with bikes and buses going past. Sometimes it gets so noisy we have to shout a bit to be heard over the traffic. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who know where everything is kept. If you need a specific type of wire or a socket that no one else seems to have, we usually have it buried somewhere in the back. We just like keeping the place running and helping out the folks living around Muneshwara Block. It's a decent living. We don't really bother with much else besides our daily tasks.
