Giri Glass & Plywoods

We are over on Hosur Main Road in Garvebhavipalya, right near the Anjaneya Temple. If you’ve ever driven down this way, you know the traffic can be a nightmare, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We handle a lot of glass and plywood, which means there is always a bit of sawdust in the air and we have to be really careful where we step. Moving those big sheets of glass is a two-man job at least, and we’ve had our fair share of accidents over time. The shop isn't very fancy; it’s mostly just a big space to store the materials. We don't have a big sales team, just us guys who know how to cut the wood and load the trucks. People from the neighborhood stop by when they are fixing up their houses or building something new. We just try to provide what they need without any fuss. The temple nearby is a good landmark, and sometimes we go there during our lunch break. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting and carrying all day. We don't spend money on ads or anything corporate like that. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been here a while and people know our face. Some days are slow and some days we can’t keep up with the cutting, but that’s just the way a small business runs. We keep the saws sharp and the floor swept as best we can.
