Down at Mathikere Feet Cross Road 41/1, you will find Genco Acoustic Engineers. We have been working out of this spot for a good amount of time. The office is usually filled with blueprints and some equipment for measuring sound. Most of what we do involves trying to make things a bit quieter for people. It isn't the kind of job that everyone understands right away. We spend time looking at walls and ceilings, trying to figure out where the noise is leaking through. Mathikere is a decent place to be based, even if the traffic on the cross road gets a bit much during the afternoon hours. At 41/1, we have enough space to keep our gear and do our calculations. It’s a lot of sitting at desks and then going out to sites to see what the actual problem is. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. We are just a small team of engineers who know a thing or two about acoustics. Some days are spent writing reports that nobody wants to read, and other days we are out in the field getting our hands dirty. It’s a steady kind of life. We don't have any slogans or big promises. We just look at the physics of sound and try to help where we can. The building here is older, but it serves us well enough for what we need to do. We just keep our heads down and work.
