Galaxy Marble & Granites

Our yard is at 17/4 on Bannergatta Road in Adugodi, quite close to the Mico Gate. You can’t miss the big slabs of stone stacked up along the side. We have all sorts of marble and granite here, mostly just sitting in the open air. It’s a heavy job, moving these stones around with the cranes or sometimes by hand when we’re showing a specific piece to a customer. The air is often a bit dusty from the stone being cut or moved, and we’re always wearing sturdy boots to protect our feet. People come in looking for something for their kitchen or floors, and we walk them through the stacks to see what catches their eye. We don’t have a glossy brochure; we just show the actual stone because the patterns are always different. The traffic on Bannergatta Road is usually a mess, so we spend a lot of time watching the cars go by while we wait for the next delivery truck. It’s a lot of physical labor, and by the end of the day, our clothes are usually covered in stone dust. We’ve been in Adugodi for a while now, and we just try to keep a good variety of slabs so people have choices. It’s a simple business of buying and selling stone, and we keep it as uncomplicated as we can.
