Gajanana Traders

Gajanana Traders is over in Arekere Village. If you take the Arekere Main Road, you will find us easily enough. We are near the Iim Post on Bannerghata Road. That area is always full of traffic and people heading to work or school. Our shop is a bit away from the main chaos, but you can still hear the buses and horns. It is a practical space for trading. We have stacks of items and a small counter where we talk to anyone who stops by. The floor is concrete and has some cracks, but it holds up well. We don't spend much time worrying about the decor. Mostly, we are checking stocks or writing out receipts by hand. The morning sun hits the front of the shop quite hard, so we usually have the shade down. It’s interesting to see how much Bannerghata Road has changed over the years. More buildings are going up all the time. Despite the growth, our little corner in Arekere feels like it stays the same. We know the other shopkeepers around here. Sometimes we share a coffee or talk about the weather. It is just a routine. We open early and stay until the evening rush starts to die down. There’s always something to move or organize. It’s a lot of manual work and staying on our feet, but that is what we do at Gajanana Traders. It is just a normal way to make a living.
