Gag Trading Co

Started the shop at Tharagupet 21/1 because the market is always moving here. Gag Trading Co is basically just a place where we manage orders and deal with the boxes that come in every morning. It gets quite crowded on this street, especially when the trucks are unloading. We spend a lot of time checking the lists and making sure things are where they need to be. Most of the guys who work here have been doing this for years, so we know the neighbors well. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. There’s usually some dust and the smell of the old buildings around us. We open the shutters pretty early, around the time the first tea stalls start up. Some days are slow and we just sit and talk, but other days the phone won’t stop ringing. Tharagupet is one of those places that never really goes quiet until late at night. We just focus on getting the day's work finished so we can go home. Sometimes people drop in just to ask for directions or to see what’s new in stock. We don’t have much room for visitors to sit, but we make it work. It’s a simple life here at the shop. We keep the accounts in order and try to stay busy. That’s pretty much how it goes for us every single day since we set up at 21/1.
