G V Acharya Co is based in Commerce House on Cunningham Road. We are up on the third floor, which is 3109/1 if you are looking at the specific numbers on the door. The building is right behind Chandrika Hotel. People usually find us by looking for the hotel first since it's a popular spot. It’s a busy area with a lot of people coming and going for lunch every day. We can often smell the food from the hotel downstairs around midday, which makes everyone hungry before our break. The office itself is quite plain. We have the usual desks and a small area for files. Being on the third floor means we get a bit of exercise since the lift can be slow sometimes. Perumal Road is right there too, so there is always noise from the traffic. It’s a good location though, very central for us. We’ve seen many businesses come and go in this building, but we’ve stayed put for quite a bit. The walls are a pale color and we have some old calendars hanging up to keep track of the days. We don't really have a receptionist or anything like that. Whoever is nearest the door usually gets up to see who it is. It’s a very straightforward way of working. Most days are just spent at our desks handling paperwork and talking on the phone. It’s nothing out of the ordinary, just a regular place.
