Fidelity Investments

Our branch of Fidelity Investments is tucked away here in Mathikere, right on 11th Main at No 7. It is a busy part of Bangalore, so there is always a lot of noise from the street outside. Most days start early before the traffic really gets bad near the post office. We spend a lot of time at our desks dealing with whatever paperwork or files come in that morning. The office isn't anything fancy, just a practical space where we can get the work done without too many distractions. There is a small tea stall just down the road where most of us head when we need a break from the computer screens. It is nice because you get to see the same faces every day. People in this neighborhood know us as the place near Muniswami's. We don't spend much time worrying about how the office looks to outsiders. It’s more about keeping things organized and making sure the files are where they should be. Sometimes the internet acts up when it rains, which happens a lot here, but we just manage. Usually, by late afternoon, the sun hits the front window and it gets a bit warm, so we keep the fans running high. It is a straightforward way of working. We’ve been at this spot for a while now, and we’ve grown used to the rhythm of the 11th Main road. It’s just us doing our jobs day in and day out.
