Fancy Gents Beauty Parlour

We are over at 25 5th Main Road in Gandhi Nagar. Fancy Gents Beauty Parlour is the name on the board outside. We are near the Indian Overseas Bank, so it’s easy to find if you know that landmark in Bangalore 560009. Despite the name, we aren't all that fancy. It's just a name we picked years ago. We have three chairs and they are usually full on the weekends. We do hair coloring, head massages, and the usual cuts. The air conditioner works most of the time, but when it’s really hot, it struggles a bit. We have some posters of movie stars on the walls to give people ideas for their hair. Most guys just want the same thing they always get though. I have two guys working with me and we’ve been together for five years now. We know how to handle different types of hair. The floor is a bit stained from the dyes but we mop it every night. We get a lot of office workers because we are right in the heart of Gandhi Nagar. It’s a noisy neighborhood with all the banks and offices nearby. We keep the door closed to muffle the sound of the horns. We aren't trying to be the best in the city, just a reliable place for the men around here to get cleaned up. It is a honest way to earn a living.
