Exide Sukhalaya Enterprises

Exide Sukhalaya Enterprises is sitting in HSR Layout, right at 1211 on the 14th Main and 22nd A Cross. It’s a busy corner of the layout. We deal with batteries all day long. You can see them stacked up near the front door, big black boxes that weigh a ton. The shop isn’t very large, so we have to be careful where we walk so we don't trip over a cable. There’s usually a row of batteries on the charging bench humming away. It smells a bit like acid and old dust in here. We spend a lot of time explaining things to people whose cars won’t start or whose home power backup failed. It’s a lot of heavy lifting. Most of us have permanent stains on our clothes from the battery water. HSR Layout has changed a lot since we opened, but our little corner remains pretty much the same. The traffic on 14th Main is always loud. We usually have a couple of delivery scooters parked out front, blocking the pavement. It’s just a regular local shop. We open up early and stay late if someone has an emergency. The floor is a bit stained and the walls have some scuff marks from moving the heavy stock around. We just keep things running. The neighbors know us by name, and we know who takes their coffee with sugar.
