We are over in Basavanagar, right on 15th Main Road in the M C Layout area. Most of the time we are just sitting at the desks drawing things up or checking through some calculations. It's an engineering office, so there’s a lot of paper and some old computers. We do consulting for different projects around the city. Sometimes clients come in with ideas that don’t quite work, and we have to explain why. It's a lot of back and forth. The office gets a bit messy with all the blueprints and files piled up. We have a small tea break in the afternoon which is usually the highlight of the day. The traffic outside can be pretty loud because it's a main road. We’ve been here for a while now. It’s not a huge team, just a few of us who know what we’re doing. We don't go for big flashy presentations. We just show the work and hope it makes sense to the person paying. Engineering is mostly just solving problems one by one. Sometimes we go out to sites to see how things are actually being built. That’s the part I like better than sitting inside all day. Basavanagar is a decent place to work. There are good small spots to eat nearby. We just keep our heads down and get the job done. It's not fancy, but we've got some good experience under our belts from the years we've spent in this trade.
