Electrotech

Being located at High Ground 7, right near the Kumara Park East area, keeps us pretty busy throughout the week. Electrotech isn't some massive, bright showroom; it's more of a working space filled with copper wires, testers, and various electrical components. We’ve been at this specific spot on Crescent Road Cross for a long time now. Balepet is always moving and shaking, and we are right in the thick of it all. We spend a lot of our time looking for very specific parts for people who are trying to fix something at their own house. It’s a lot of manual work, checking technical specs and making sure the voltages match up. The shop feels a bit cramped because we try to keep as much stock on hand as possible. You’ll see reels of heavy cable and boxes of plastic switches piled up high. It might look a bit disorganized to someone just walking in off the street, but there is definitely a system to the mess. We don’t really do big sales pitches or try to talk anyone into buying more than they need. If we have the part, we just tell you. If we don’t have it, we might know a guy down the road who does. That’s just how the trade works around here. The lighting in the back corner is a bit dim, but we manage to get the job done. People know us as the place to go when they have an electrical headache they can't solve.
