Our place is out in the Kumbalagodu Industrial Area, specifically Phase II, plot 16/B. It’s a bit of a drive from the city center. The area is full of factories and big industrial sheds. We do plastic molding and industrial parts here. The machines are pretty loud, so you have to raise your voice to talk when you're out on the factory floor. It’s a big space with high ceilings and concrete floors that have seen better days. There is always a lot of raw material coming in and finished parts going out in heavy crates. It’s not a clean environment—there’s always a bit of plastic smell and some dust from the machines. We have a small office area tucked in one corner with a couple of old computers, but most of the time we’re out where the actual work happens. The 16/B address is easy to spot because of the big grey gate. We don't have fancy signs or anything to attract attention. We just focus on getting the production runs done on time. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we spend half the day covered in oil trying to fix it. It’s just the usual factory life. We’ve been in this spot for several years now. It gets quite hot under the metal roof in the summer months. We just keep the big doors open to let some air in. It’s hard work, but it is what it is.
