Our office is located in Bangalore, specifically on 3rd Cross, Hutchins Road in the Coxtown neighborhood. Coxtown still has some of that old-school Bangalore feeling that is getting harder to find these days. We are at number 25. The street is relatively narrow, so finding a spot for a car can be a bit of a headache if you do not get here early in the morning. We occupy a floor in a building that has been around for quite some time. The ceilings are high, and the windows are large enough to let in a decent amount of natural light during the day. We do not have one of those modern open-office plans; it is a more traditional layout with separate rooms for different tasks. It feels solid and dependable to us. You can always hear the sounds of the neighborhood, like the vegetable vendors calling out or the bells from the temple nearby. We have grown very fond of the small local eateries around Hutchins Road for our lunch breaks. Inside the office, we keep things very simple. We have our cupboards full of old project files and a few mismatched chairs in the small area where people wait. It is a practical workspace where we focus on our tech tasks without a lot of distractions. There are no bright signs or glass walls here. It is just where we work.
