Durga Marble

Durga Marble is based out of K-8 in Tilak Nagar. If you walk into our yard, you'll see slabs of stone leaning against the walls and a fair bit of white dust on everything. Dealing with marble and granite is heavy work, and our hands usually show it. We’ve been in Tilak Nagar for some time, and people around here know us as the place to look at stone for their floors or counters. It’s not a polished showroom; it’s more of a warehouse feel where you can see the raw materials. We spend a lot of time moving pieces around so people can see the patterns. Some of the pieces are really heavy, so we have to be careful how we handle them. It’s mostly manual labor and talking through measurements with customers. Sometimes a delivery truck gets stuck in the narrow lanes around here, which can be a bit of a mess to sort out. We don't have fancy sales pitches. We just show you what we have in stock and tell you how much it costs. It’s straightforward. The sun gets pretty hot out in the yard during the afternoon, but we just keep at it. Tilak Nagar is a good spot for us, and we’ve gotten to know many of the builders and homeowners in the area. We just keep our heads down and get the stones ready for whoever is building something new.
