We are located at 269 on Albert Victor Road, right in the 1st Main area of Chamrajpet. This Dtdc branch is a pretty busy little spot most days. We get a lot of foot traffic because of where we are in the neighborhood. It’s a simple setup—just a counter, some scales, and a lot of tape and cardboard boxes everywhere. People come in all day with things they need to send across the country, and we do our best to get them sorted out. It’s not a place for long conversations, but we know the regulars who stop by every week with their deliveries. The office isn’t very big, so when we have a lot of parcels waiting for the truck, it can feel a bit crowded. We don’t have a fancy uniform or anything like that, just our regular work clothes. Sometimes the humidity makes the packing tape difficult to work with, but we manage. Chamrajpet is an old part of the city, and our building has that lived-in feel to it. We don’t make big promises about being the fastest in the world, we just focus on making sure the address is right and the box is shut tight before it leaves. It’s basic work, but it’s important. We take turns going for lunch so someone is always at the desk. It’s just a normal day for us.
