Drive N Xerox

If you find yourself on St Marks Road, you can see us at number 17. Drive N Xerox is a small shop where we spend most of our time standing behind the big copying machines. The air always has that slightly burnt smell of hot paper and toner. We do a lot of printing, scanning, and binding for the people who work in the nearby offices or the students passing through. It is a small space, so it gets crowded quickly if more than three people are waiting. We have a couple of computers where people can plug in their thumb drives to print out documents. Sometimes the machines get a paper jam at the worst possible time, and we have to open them up to pull out the crumpled sheets. Our fingers are usually stained with a bit of ink by the end of the day. We don't really do fancy marketing; people just see the sign and come in because they need a copy made fast. We have a small stool behind the counter but we rarely get a chance to sit down. The street outside is always busy with people and cars, so there is plenty to look at when things are quiet for a minute. It is just a simple service we provide to the neighborhood. We keep extra paper and ink in the back so we don't run out.
