You can find us at No. 291 in Rajeev Gandhi Nagar. It’s a regular neighborhood, and our office is just one of the buildings there. Drishti Multi Commodity is what we call ourselves, but mostly we’re just a small group of people working at desks. We deal with different commodities, which means there’s always a lot of phone calls and paperwork. It’s not the most exciting thing to look at from the outside. The office has a few chairs and some computers that have seen better days. We don’t really do anything flashy. Rajeev Gandhi Nagar is a decent place to be based. It’s easy enough for people to find us. We spend a lot of time looking at prices and talking to suppliers. Sometimes the internet is slow and it makes things difficult, but we manage. We aren’t some big multinational firm with a thousand employees. It’s just us here, trying to keep things moving. We drink a lot of tea while we work. The windows look out onto the street, so we see the neighbors walking by. It’s a quiet enough area most of the time. We try to be fair with everyone we deal with. We don’t use big business words because we don’t need to. We just do the trades and record the numbers. That’s our day and it keeps us busy enough to stay out of trouble.
