Dr Narayan Raj

Dr Narayan Raj is located within the Sri Nimishamba College Campus. This is over in the Chik Lalbagh area, which is part of Majestic and Cottonpet. It’s a very busy part of Bangalore, right near Shanthala Silk House. If you’ve ever been to Majestic, you know how crowded it gets with all the buses and shops. Being on a college campus means there’s always a lot of energy around. There are students everywhere, and the noise from the market nearby is constant. My space is inside one of the buildings here. It’s a practical office where I spend most of my time. There are shelves full of books and various documents piled up. It’s not a polished or modern-looking place; it looks like a workspace that has been used for many years. People come here for various reasons, often looking for advice or help with their academic path. I try to stay on top of the appointments, but sometimes things run late because people have a lot to talk about. The heat in Cottonpet can be quite something in the summer, so the ceiling fan is always on high. It’s a very traditional setting. There is no fancy lobby or receptionist at the front. You just find your way through the campus and come to the door. It’s a grounded, everyday kind of operation in one of the oldest parts of the city.
