Our place is over on 60 Ft Road in J C Nagar, right at number 45. It’s the Mahalaxmi Puram area, so it’s fairly easy to find if you know the main roads around here. We deal with industrial parts and manufacturing stuff mostly. The workshop can get pretty loud when the machines are all running at once in the afternoon. There’s usually a bit of oil on the floor and that distinct smell of cut metal in the air. That’s just how it is in this line of work. We aren't a showroom with glass doors and cold air conditioning. It’s more of a practical space where we get things made and shipped out. We have a small office area tucked in the corner where we keep the ledgers and handle the paperwork. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other times it’s quiet for hours. We have a small crew and everyone knows their job. We’ve been at this location for a long time. The building is a bit old, and the paint is peeling in some spots on the outside, but it serves its purpose for us. We make parts that other people need for their own businesses. It’s a lot of measuring and cutting and checking things twice before they leave the floor. We eat our lunch together in the back when we have a spare moment. It’s just an honest day’s work for us. The road outside is always busy with traffic.
