Devaki Rein Forced-Plastics

At Devaki Rein Forced-Plastics, we operate out of No 104 Kamgondan Halli, Jall Halli West Po. Our workshop is tucked away in a neighborhood that’s a mix of homes and other small workshops. Working with reinforced plastics is a messy business. We have rolls of fiberglass matting, containers of resin, and various molds taking up most of the floor space. There is always a strong chemical smell in the air, which we’ve mostly stopped noticing, but visitors usually comment on it. We spend a lot of time carefully applying layers of material and then waiting for them to set. It requires a bit of patience and a steady hand. The place is often covered in a fine white dust from when we sand down the finished pieces. We don't have a fancy storefront or a secretary. Usually, if the door is open, you can just walk in and find us covered in dust or resin. We have an old radio that’s always tuned to the same station, providing some background noise while we work. It’s just a small team of us here. We’ve been at this address in Kamgondan Halli for several years and we’re well-known to the locals. We don't make any grand claims about what we do. We just make plastic parts and try to do a decent job of it. It’s a bit of a specialized trade, but it’s what keeps us busy every day.
