About Daksh Interiors – Repair & Maintenance in Bengaluru
I started Daksh Interiors at Bommanahalli Railway Crossing 29 because the rent was okay and it was close to where I live. It isn't a fancy place with glass windows and air conditioning that makes you shiver. Most days, we just leave the door open, even if the dust from the railway crossing gets on the desks. We have some wood samples and a few catalogs, but mostly we just sit down with a notebook and draw out what people want for their kitchens or bedrooms. My nephew helps me with the measurements when he isn't busy with his college stuff. It gets loud when the trains go past, so we usually just stop talking for a minute and wait. It’s a simple setup. We don't have a big team or anything like that. It’s just a couple of us who know how to get the wood cut and the laminates stuck on properly. People from the nearby apartments come in, usually after work, and we talk about budgets and what kind of handles they like. Sometimes we go over to their place to see the walls. We don't do any big fancy presentations. I just show them photos on my phone of what we did for the neighbor. It's just honest work, and we try to finish things on time so we can move to the next one. The office floor is usually covered in some sawdust, but that’s just part of the job here.
