D I A C Services is tucked away in Jaraganahalli at number 786. It’s a small place but it serves us well for what we do. We’ve been at this location for a while now and the address is pretty easy for most locals to find once they get into the Jaraganahalli area. The shop is usually quiet until the phone starts ringing or someone walks in with a problem they need fixed. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know how to handle the equipment. Every morning we start by checking the list of things to do and we just work through it until the sun goes down. There’s a lot of traffic on the main road nearby, but inside it’s mostly just the sound of tools and maybe a radio playing some local music. We don't go in for fancy signs or bright lights. The number 786 is painted on the wall and that’s about it. People come to us because they know we’ve been here and we aren't going anywhere. It’s a lot of hard work and some days are longer than others, especially when a job gets complicated. But we like the routine of it. We take our lunch together and talk about the neighborhood. It’s a decent way to make a living and we’re glad to be a part of the community here in Jaraganahalli. It feels right being exactly where we are, doing this kind of work.
