This is the D H L Expres office located at 49-6 in the Koramangala 5th Block Industrial Layout. Being in Koramangala means it’s always busy around here, with lots of traffic and people moving about. We handle a lot of international and domestic shipping from this spot. It’s a noisy place most of the time because of the vans coming in and out and the sound of packing tape being pulled. We have a counter where people bring their boxes to be weighed and labeled. We see everything from important documents to gifts being sent to family members overseas. The warehouse area can get pretty stuffed with crates when a big shipment arrives. We have to be careful with the paperwork because the customs stuff can be a real headache if it's not done right. Our staff is usually on their feet all day, moving things around and checking tracking numbers. It’s not a very quiet job, but it keeps us moving. We’ve got some industrial fans to keep the air flowing because it gets quite stuffy with all the cardboard boxes around. We just focus on getting the packages onto the right trucks so they can get to the airport or the next hub. It’s a lot of logistics to keep track of, but we just take it one box at a time and keep moving until the day is done.
